When the summer months approach, people flock to the beach. While other East Coast beaches, like Ocean City, The Shore and Cape Cod, get all the cred, the beaches in Delaware deserve some love too.
Rehoboth Beach
Only a short distance from Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, Rehoboth Beach is a popular destination for sea air and baths in the summer sun.
For those that do not like the beach or sand… (Anakin Skywalker, I’m looking at you). The Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is the stop for you. Filled with places to shop, dine and play, you can spend hours discovering what the Boardwalk has to offer.
Places to Eat in Rehoboth
Dogfish Head is one of the most popular beers in this region. Located on Rehoboth Avenue, you can throw back a few before returning to the beach.
Not exactly a “Family-Friendly” place, Crabby Dicks is a great place for fresh seafood. As you can tell from its name, there are a lot of adult jokes that can be made from it. Although most jokes would go over a kid's head, you may want to second guess coming here with younglings. But, if you are single or free of children, grab a bucket of crab legs.
